Rogers The Musical - Full Show!

 

Can you believe they actually had this show at Disney California Adventure?  It was a great show, and I am so sad it's no longer playing...Honestly, I'm sad nothing is playing in that theater currently!

Rogers: The Musical is a limited time showing of a 35 minute production about Captain America and a brief glimpse of the rest of the Avengers, too. This was my view from the balcony, on the left hand center-ish side of the stage. Honestly, I really liked this show. I enjoyed it far more than I thought I would, and it was not worth the cost of getting the $29 VIP seat, as this view was fine. 

 I showed up about 45 minutes ahead of the show and got a seat easily.

The musical retelling takes you from Steve’s humble beginnings during World War II to becoming Captain America and leading the Avengers.

It’s a larger-than-life one-act musical coming this summer for a limited time to the Hyperion Theater in Hollywood Land at Disney California Adventure Park."

Disneyland's Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway - Entire Ride + Queue

 

The day Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway went to standard queue, my family happened to be at the park. We got lucky and in the evening, it was only a 30 minute wait! 

A fun little ride with a catchy tune, it was an enjoyable experience. Even the queue was really entertaining. Reading all the signs and seeing the little details helped pass the time fairly quickly! 

"Step into the whimsical universe of a Mickey Mouse short and hitch a ride on Engineer Goofy's train. What could possibly go wrong? Cue hilarious hijinks! A relaxing train ride suddenly turns into a zany, free-ranging romp through ever-changing and rearranging cartoon scenes. Wondrous Journeys - A NEW Disneyland Fireworks Spectacular!

 

Have you seen the new fireworks show at Disneyland, called Wondrous Journeys?  It's fantastic!  This is the opening night show, from Jan 27, 2023.  The location for this view was to the left of the castle, right in front of the turkey leg/corn on the cob cart.  It was an excellent view!  My favorite part of the show was the mash up of classic Disney songs...seriously awesome.  Fans were crying, this show was so touching!

Here is a map, showing my view.  If you look on Google, you'll see the turkey cart listed.  We were directly in front of that, on the curb.  You can sit most of the waiting, but about the last 30 minutes to an hour before the show, they try to make you stand.

Orca Encounter at Sea World, San Diego!

 

The Orca Encounter at Sea world in San Diego, California is an amazing experience.  This was my first time ever seeing this show, and I thought they did a great job!  It's very interactive, audience participation is requested, and there is a giant screen showing cool facts and pictures behind the water.

 

The view for this video was filmed in the row behind what is painted as the splash zone. We did not get wet in our spot, so I'd say the zones are accurately marked! "See orcas in the first experience of its kind. Dive deeper into the orcas masterful hunting techniques and complex communication codes. Learn about the role of family, the importance of play and what we learn from the whales in our care every day is actively helping whales in the wild survive.
